Bright beacon in a Fog

I feel so lucky and so blessed to work next door to the temple. I love getting off work at six a.m. when its quiet, damp, and peaceful...the world hasn't quite woken up yet, and I can look up in the dark at that beautiful bright building and it's like I have it all to myself. And I sigh and quietly remind myself what life is really all about... and it really keeps things in perspective. If a patient died that night, if I saw pain, suffering, or grief, I can look out the window and feel the warmth and love of the spirit around me and know down to the core of my being that it's all in God's hands; that no matter what, its going to be okay. Pain is temporary and life is eternal. It's a beautiful reminder.........So anyway, back to my original story, I came out one morning and a thick fog had covered everything, and the only thing that was visible was the spire of the temple. And i thought, what a beautiful metaphor for life? so i saw a photo opportunity and here's what came of it. I had a new camera and I couldn't get the fog to show up in the pictures...so i was mad, but i had fun trying:) These don't nearly do the sight justice...
